Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Academic Coordinator to join our esteemed team at Gurukul High. The Academic Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing the academic programs, ensuring curriculum standards are met, and supporting teachers and students in their educational journey. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in education, excellent organizational skills, and a passion for fostering a positive learning environment.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Teacher Support:
Provide guidance and support to teachers in implementing the curriculum.
Organize professional development workshops and training sessions for staff.
Student Support:
Monitor student progress and implement interventions when necessary.
Address academic and behavioral concerns with students and parents.
Assessment and Evaluation:
Oversee the administration of standardized tests and assessments.
Analyze test results to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies.
Administrative Duties:
Maintain accurate records of student performance and attendance.
Prepare reports for school administration and governing bodies.
Communication:
Serve as a liaison between teachers, parents, and administration.
Facilitate regular meetings with staff, parents, and students to discuss academic progress and concerns.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in education or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
Minimum of 3-5 years of teaching experience.
Strong understanding of curriculum design and educational standards.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proven leadership and organizational abilities.
Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and students.
